Initially we were due to tour the city temples and the Grand Palace this morning but this had been rescheduled to Thursday as the Grand Palace was closed for the funeral of a Thai Princess. When we were told our tour was rescheduled, we had booked for David and Connor to do Flight of the Gibbons - zip lining through the Thai rainforest, today. However, Connor decided he did not really want to do it and it was clear that David was simply not going to be up to it. Although he had stopped vomiting he was physically wiped out. We cancelled the trip and decided to have a quiet rest day at the hotel.
David was still feeling nauseous and slept for most of the day while the boys and I watched TV, relaxed and went swimming. Given David still didn't feel up to going out we ordered room service for dinner again. The boys seem to like being able to choose things from a menu and have it brought up to the room. We are hoping David will be okay for our tour to Ayutthaya tomorrow.
